Sara Arévalo

Dancer / dancer from Madrid graduated from the Carmen Amaya Professional Dance Conservatory and graduated in Spanish dance and flamenco from the “María de Ávila” Superior Dance Conservatory, expanding her training at the Andalusian Dance Center of Seville.

With more than ten years of career behind him, she has worked in the most prestigious companies in the country, such as the Andalusian Flamenco Ballet, Joaquín Cortés and other collaborations. Actually she’s highligted part of the National Ballet of Spain, companies that have allowed she to step on theaters such as the City Center in New York, Bunkamura Theater in Tokyo, Sadler’s Wells in London and Teatro Real in Madrid, among others.

In the 30th edition of the Madrid Choreographic Contest of Spanish and Flamenco dance, she was awarded the second solo prize and an artistic residency for the Choreographic Center of the La Gomera (Canarias Island).

Her goal is to continue growing both inside and outside of NBS and to continue developing her own vision of dance as a performer and as a choreographer of Spanish dance and flamenco.
